Truth

Truth

A Poem by KuhuNagpal

•Truth

There's this truth
Pleasing to me.
But ugly to you
Maybe.
Hence
My silence
About it.
Silence
Oh! so hideous.
To you
It may mean nothing.
But to me
That truth's everything.
Not a second spent when it's not on my mind
I can feel it oh! so close.
That truth's wonderful
It's so magical
It leaves me goose-bumped.
That truth is
A Beautiful truth
Yet difficult to face
And every time I tell it to myself
(For yet the hundredth time)
It leaves my throat lumped.
But all of it apart
I know that that truth is true.
Truer than me;
Truer than you;
Truer than a dying man.
