Much Of Many

Much Of Many

A Poem by Kube

With a firm grip my closed fist of fury
A safe place is needed
Temperature is rising my collar getting so heated
Sit back relax refill an empty glass
Helps for a minute but i know it can never last
Looking for the spirit searching for a hope
Moments of greatness out weighed by days of weakness
What is my role?

Once again this pen and pad is my only friend
It takes time out to listen and is always there when things get bad
A switch of moods like an ocean changing tides
Eventually i get there but it just takes a little time
I wish my feelings would rest with the sunset
I wish i could be at peace with my mind when the sun rise

Cooking dinner for two but I'm the only one eating
Drinking for three with only one glass
I wish to see life as a simple thing
Your born you die and you live in between.

I like the theme of "much of many"... "Cooking dinner for two but I'm the only one eating
Drinking for three with only one glass"... great lines. I think that you could use stronger words in some places, but overall, I felt the sence of loneliness and maybe a little defeat, especially at the end (born and die and live in between).
