Another Time

I now know how pointless writing this was thinking it would change things. Oh well.

You are in my thoughts and in my dreams
I try not to but still there you are
I think the hardest part is not being wanted
Not seeing your face
Not holding your hand
Not looking into your eyes
Not kissing your lips
Being alone again
I keep thinking of what i could have done to keep you
But i blame myself for everything
So that's kind of hard to do
I dream of another hug
Another kiss
To feel your skin on mine
I pray to see you smile at me again
To laugh with me
I wish there was an off switch for my thoughts
Sometimes I'm glad there's not
You said not to give up on you
So i guess that's why these feelings are still here
Stronger than ever it seems
I still pray for you
And yes i pray for me too
I pray i could make you happy
I pray you were here laying next to me
God loves a trying as they say.
