Ode to Middle Earth

Ode to Middle Earth

A Chapter by Kuandio

Iluvatar and Morgoth, light and void, shattered jewels, stars strewn

Misted peaks, the seas, and shimmering spring leaves, are verses of a song,

tiding long before day and night were sundered into shadow, fire, and ice

A world of reflections, echoes, and dreams, cast among beautiful ruins

The journeying wizard and the warring sorcerer, are as ancient as the universe’s creation.

The dwarves are the very life of rock, caves, and mountains, manifested into being

The elves the living enigma of the forests, glimmering streams, and lost breezes

The suffering orcs are prisoners to fear, loneliness, wrath, and condemnation

Thralls of deception risen of the primordial separation from remembrance’s source

Men are they who walk all those paths, in search of their true identity, beyond the twilight

Interwoven destinies, branches of a tree, through which the melodic wind forever whispers

notes of a great song questing to cross the darkness, and find the star that binds us

About
I started drawing comics when I was about four or five (not much better than dinosaur stick figures). Over time I found I couldn’t express enough through just drawing and was always adding more.. more..
