Temporary home

Temporary home

A Poem by Kt2u

I always wondered what was out there for me. What I was supposed to do when I grew up. I know that where I live now is just my temporary home. I'm leaving soon. And no one is going to notice. It's like when your underwater, you notice all the things you can see, but sometimes you don't notice what you can't hear. That's my home, yes underwater is my home. Where I don't have to worry about school or friends or anything. I can just sit at the bottom of the ocean and watch the fish, sometimes for hours. Call me crazy, I don't mind, but it gets me away from reality.
I always wanted to leave home, it's not a home, it's a house, because no one ever notices my changes. That's why I like traveling, or writing or just being underwater. No one can make me mad, no one can hurt me. Sometimes, the fish pay more attention to me than my friends do. I know what your thinking, that fish can't tell anything about us, but they can. Like when I'm sad, and I go swimming, I'm never alone. I'm always home in the ocean.
