Invisible

Invisible

A Story by Ksummera

He never sees me. Looking past, waving to the object behind me, he never sees me. I'm silent, I don't talk. For if I do my voice will shake and my heart will race. I observe, I watch, and I wonder. Has he ever seen me? Am I shadow in the light or just another seat? Unnoticed day by day pleading that maybe he'll look up. A cheesy romantic, no hope is spared for me. Each day will bring heartache and loneliness. Each day I'll look up to see him walking away. A tomato would blossom if he finally found me. My eyes would dart down and away. I want to be close, but I don't know how. I want him to notice me, but I don't know how. He never sees me.

Simply beautiful is all I can say

Wonderful piece of writing. The only thing I would change is the tomato reference. It’s too haunting a piece to use the tomato. Find another thing that would be a rare event?
