End of TimesA Poem by ksscamposlack of time is an excuse of those who loses times due to lack of initiativeEnd of TimesTime has elapsed over time Days have gone, leaving us behind You wake up and feel indifferent The wrinkles you gained seems misleading Time flies, but it’s slow and subtle You awaken one day with no rebuttal Twenty years gone by, clock is ticking No time to look back, to the future you’re heading Time elapsed is time gone One chance at life, what’s done is done All that’s happened is blank memories No one is interested to hear your stories Like the fumes blowing up from my pipe Your days fade away as the sun at night With age little is left of you Everything is broken, what was once new Inevitably life brings death No heaven or hell when you lay to rest Leave behind good remembrances That’s what’s left when your time has passed © 2014 ksscampos |
