Human Contact

Human Contact

Cancerous technological advances
Carefully changing our thought progressions
Life is seen protruding from a small-lit screen
Fingers burn typing, and your face is never seen

Bringing those afar a little closer together
While those next to you falls further away
A sine qua non for global communication
Bringing human contact to abrupt regression

A beautiful cloud up on the sky
Goes unnoticed while you surf online
The idea is perfect for globalization
Those around you are quite,
while you’re on sequestration

Put it down, turn it off
Connect with the world that you’ve sought
Listen to natural sounds with no speakers
Look at the world with infinite megapixels

lmao.. Seriously, maybe we were good friends in another life or something... I HATE cell phones with a purple passion and always seem to date people who are lost without them.. I'd throw mine away if Everyone I love was nearby... I literally use it as a glorified alarm clock...
