MotherA Poem by ksscamposOne mother is worth more than a thousand school masters.MotherMother With tears you shed the moments Every leaf must one day fall Recycled breaths move you along Tempo paces rhythmically We'll one day nail your photo to the wall Out of our peripheral you will slowly give way To a new sight which we'll engage Waves of my oceans will trouble Nostalgic trips to the times we could've had eases the surf A hideaway, you become. A safe haven, a familiar turf. Comfort be by your side Time cut short with the end of life Yells yield warnings of desperation Without you, premature maturation Lessons taught by powers of nature Days gone by, many brought me to my knees I stood yet again, don't worry my brother always aided me I don't remember, but I never forgot The softness of your touch, and your kind heart Nothing is created nor is it destroyed Little parts of you roams around making sure we're keeping up Particles of the tears you once cried, that was carried away with time Now flows down my face, what a disconnected way to connect to you. Word of mouth has kept you alive Mother, you came and you're gone You're little boys grew Like the cancer that took you. © 2014 ksscamposReviews
