Rebuild SocietyA Poem by ksscamposwe need to stop and reassess our lives, and our communities.Rebuild SocietyHate flows through ischemic vessels Society’s heart has in turn hardened With the cells that make up the system None are of less importance All are there for a cause The walls erected with biological mortar Cannot sustain mere cosmetic cover up With each brick, it’s purpose and story I conduct an invitation to all whom find it stark To break down the wall And stent to perfuse the heart Let us see society as it flows No division or racial wars Classes of men and women pull together None are of less importance We’re all here for a cause We gather together for the human race All other revulsions and disparities will be erased © 2014 ksscampos |
