AnarchistA Poem by ksscamposa revolted mind yelling for help. to be saved from this insanely path of imaginary freedomAnarchistWe think we know freedom, But we're kindly reminded by the links of the shackles tightening up Blindfolded by a beautiful day and the warm sunrise Soft melody keeps us humming the tunes of oppression Distraught by sentinel events brought about psychological regression We vote for whomever we want to hear tell the lies And we fight about it, as if any of them are really on our sides Yet we push on, content with the false sense of optimism Lights being distorted through the political prism Sadden eyes bow down to unconscious facism We rise! Only to be brought down to our knees by those who serve and protect Somewhere in the pyramid, ideas disconnect We fight! Trying to stabilize the system, only to bring our demise We smile with permissive disguise Drowning our sorrows Once was possible now extinct Our neighborhoods, more like a precinct Offices once held hostage to our votes Control the masses with many new codes Yet, we fight! Loss of hope is non compatible with life We fight! Let it be known we will cross the lines Years of disrespect, will be no more! Racism, facism... Anarchism! Let it be known, for justice we die! © 2014 ksscampos |
