A Loveless Hope

A Loveless Hope

A Poem by Krystle Queen

I'm just a statue to be glanced at.

A box that the mime pretends is there but no one can see.

I'm the history of depressed challenges and the future of happiness.

A reason that one might not be missed.

A true life of the witness.

To know everything but give no effort.

To help something and conceive the pain.

To know the sacrifice you set free but never obtained.

A soul to sorrow and mourn over but easily forgotten as time goes on.

A real forgiveness that is needed but no response.

It's all me.

I am the one who has to burden this life.

I am the one no one can retrieve.
