What do you feel?

The soft wind,

caressing your skin.

The pulsing sun,

Radiating heat onto your pale face.

The cool grass,

Tickling your feet.

What do you hear?

The rustling of leaves,

As the wind tries to shake them loose. 

The melody of birds,

The gentle ticks of insects. 

Open your eyes.

What do you see?

I see white walls,

Surrounding me from all sides.

A bright screen, with dark words. 

For just a moment,

You and I were connected.
