Phoenix

One of the few happy poems I have written. Generally speaking it seems that what fuels my creativity is anger or sorrow... But sometimes my muse dances to a different beat.

Rise from the depths
to the heights of your glory.

Rise like a phoenix from the fires
of your sorrow, your strife, your grief.

Rise like the sun
to dry the land after the storm.


Rise and become all you can.
