InsideA Poem by Katherine ElizabethHave you ever had someone run from you?I see you laugh, I watch you learn You seem so cold, but feel the burn Do you melt when I'm inside, Because you have no place to hide?
Do you sweat when I'm around, Get that urge to hit the ground? Are you scared of what you see, Or are you scared of being me?
I see your eyes, they look so old You're on fire and yet so cold, You just freeze when I'm inside... Because it's the only place you hide. © 2008 Katherine ElizabethFeatured Review
