Like wisps we wish to flyA Poem by BeaconAt times, we wish only to let go.
We see the world: it looms, it beckons, it frightens, it comforts.
this world of ours, it leaves us reeling, an emotional vortex within us. This is our anchor, holds us, though we wish not to be bound. Like wisps we wish to fly. Let wind carry us in its weightless grasp. Like wisps we wish to be free of any and all prisons. Wisps we wish to be, yet weighted are we that brings us back down, ever stayed. Like wisps we wish to fly.
