Like wisps we wish to fly

Like wisps we wish to fly

A Poem by Beacon
"

At times, we wish only to let go.

"
We see the world: it looms, it beckons, it frightens, it comforts.
this world of ours, it leaves us reeling, an emotional vortex within us.
This is our anchor, holds us, though we wish not to be bound.

Like wisps we wish to fly.
Let wind carry us in its weightless grasp.
Like wisps we wish to be free
of any and all prisons.

Wisps we wish to be, yet weighted are we
that brings us back down, ever stayed.
Like wisps we wish to fly.

Author's Note

Beacon
I feel like a lot of people in life merely want to let go of all the troubles that seem to bind us. This is how I personally feel and this poem does a crappy job of getting that message out, but I feel better putting it to words. Anyone else have similar thoughts and/or want to review this? All constructive criticism is appreciated.

We like to be light, we have a weight, flighty but grounded in reality
