Himalayan flairA Poem by KrutikaHope you all like it!
I see my smokey breathe, etch
snowy clouds, out of thin cold air while the temperature drops, a notch and yet there they stand tall, proud & fair I feel my heart, leap in joy bounding up the Himalayan flair! Up the winding, crooked road, climbing onto the pine-covered lair Here I find it piled, the very snow I sought, stone cold, hardened with the passage of time Yet failing to withstand the warmth of my traveller heart! Leaving behind, a prickling sensation on contact, a simple reminder "Yes! you're growing a little old And a little cold, too Hear that heart beat. Feel that warm breathe. Right now you are alive! Beautiful! Believe!" © 2018 Krutika |
