Color of your loveA Poem by KrutikaWriting about love has always been difficult thing to do. Love is such a vast emotion that putting it across as words I feel restricts it.Just an attempt nonetheless hopefully not sounds cliche.
Color of your love appears
in various shades of hues Early spilled tints in a prologue, Blurry shadows cast in an epilogue Or more misted references thrown askance in the midst! Whatever the form it exists it radiates a fluorescence, yours, I find, is always a shade of blue Born to the suspended silver sky, to icy depths of an ocean, as well An infinite lustre, somewhat glued Unique, amongst the myriad of hues! A color, I think, so relates to you, of gratitude, of silence, of serenity A perfect blue, Of calm, collected affinity! So unlike the vibrant red Love usually is compared to! Yours is that tinge of blue raindrops, soaked music to my lute Unlike the crimson red at stake , leaving only crisp ash in its wake! © 2017 Krutika
