FriendshipsA Poem by KrutikaRandom musings
Friendships were never
meant to last forever born to wilderness, of both concrete and dirt, like those flowering chrysanths in the garden, or blooming water lilies in the mud, even the dozen nameless blossoms on the sidewalk. Exquisite every ways, though those contours, ever fleeting unparalleled, never to be replicated. Living that moment, to be lost in another like a waning moon in night sky like call of cicadas in the forest nigh like falling dew at the dawn, What's with that lengthy sigh! Friendships, were always meant to be sought nurtured, sustained, appreciated in that momentary pause But no, there is no forever thus precious, precisely why! While you walk on the sidewalk, navigate the swamps Or plod the deserts friendships, that you make along the way bloom and wither, wax and wane In the wilderness they grow, a renascent artistry, permeating time, living in wisps of memories! © 2017 KrutikaAuthor's Note
