QueenA Poem by Krutika
All I see is black and white..
I know no other hue, any better than those two.. All I see are squares side by side an eight by eight boxed net. A trap sprung, rules set tight oddly at home I feel right! All I see are bishops, knights and rooks, pawns in tow move one at a time, facing foe seem polar opposites, mirror images, no surprise there! A mind game I hear.. Been caught in the quiet fray I take turns and lets say.. I kind of know it, a little all too well of how, to put an end to this they call me Queen after all! You better watch out! Or maybe its already too late, there you go "Checkmate!" © 2017 KrutikaReviews
