God's love

God knows us the best

All this while I've been in love

with a man I thought of my dreams

And every time I've been hurt

By that someone so mean

You were there

Unnoticed by me

 

You've been watching silently

Staring at me with those serene eyes

You've been waiting patiently

An angel who fell straight from the sky

For when God takes away 

A possession you hold so close

He knows you the best and for you

There must be something better He chose
