The unforeseen withdrawal

The unforeseen withdrawal

A Poem by Kruppz
"

about a girl-friend I still admire...

"

That slim, confident figure

Her feminine, stunning features,

Stressed as if mockingly by her loose dress.

Yesterday’s bright-eyed dreamer

Today’s beloved, a life-loving learner,

Tomorrow’s risk-analyst, a to-be alpha woman.

Forever I thought I could cherish lady beautiful, eternally

But the day I saw that subtle hint in her eyes, so green…

A gender play of familiarity between mates that leaves much that is deemed non-verbal and in the process, it loses its audience. Curious!

Very adorable write.
I loved the way the poem was expressed in.
the expressions were well defined and well understood.
It goes a little over head at first read.... but a second time recitation and it comes beautifully to you.
Great job!
