I like the use of the rhetorical question here. It makes the poem, short and sharp. The subject matter isn't new. But I like the way you pose the question. It conveys the intensity and the indignation admirably. In an ideal world, you wouldn't have had to write this. But this world is far from ideal. And so we seek solace... in words...Keep writing!

It's the ever present struggle of true love. Where do we speak of infatuation and lost, and where does it become love? Moreover, love must come from both hearts. It's unbearable to watch the unrequited lover be left alone with hope and emptiness.
