ah good morning

ah good morning

A Poem by Kristi
"

i love my new life and my new girl but i cant help but to remember how calm and centered life can be without the haze of babylon

"

so sick and tired of this routine

how can so many take such a scene

surrounded by concreted and cookie cutter houses

a shallow and empty good morning

i miss sleeping under the trees

the sun caressing my face as it rises

entangled in the morning breeze

still resting my head, i cant help but smile

sitting beside the stream

to be greeted with calm grace

the trees, the skies, surrounding me

as the day moves, i follow its pace

collecting the kindle

building the fire

making the coffee

as the smoke rises higher

chopping the wood

preparing for breakfast

so simple and blessed

this must feel like heaven

its hard to find someone who likes the outdoors like that... especially someone who can express it so well.

Very sweet, glad I got to read it.
