aimously is how we wonder

aimously is how we wonder

A Poem by Kristi
"

our society and our people are slowly detiorating into senseless animals.. the distinctions between us are getting fewer and fewer

"

so time and time again
i look around for my missing friends
such a world with little empathy
the crumbling of all humanity

life's all about materials
what we want and what we cant have
so many look around and cant see
all of those who truly need

life's all about sensuality
no more modesty, no more virginity
and yet we wonder, what made us plunder
to this pain called a broken heart

this is the world we live in
no such concept of good deeds and sins
lost in a mesh of dark, greys, and whites
not knowing which shade is the light

it was exactly what I was looking for. It was text-ed to my son in order to remind him, hopefully, that people come first.

You are really good I really enjoyed this, I like the darkness, the rawness, it was a great read. I like how you totally bagged on humanity on this, I like your view point as well. Thank you for sharing with us, don't give up on writing, in my opinion you have a bright future with it, but then again I'm just 16 myself.
Good luck!
