Rumors make You do Crazy Stuff.

A girl who got a horrible rumor spread about her by another girl, who she despised. so she got her revenge.

I was a little girl living a normal life. My family. My friends. My life. It all came crashing down, when Kiera told that AWFUL! AWFUL! Rumor about me.. I seek revenge. I feel like no one will ever understand how this impacted me. My thoughts linger in my mind for far to long. I need to make up my mind before i do something i will regret. I pace around my room, ripping my hair out as i sob quietly. "Why.. why.. I was so happy! so.. kind.. but.. it all came c-crashing down.. what have i done to deserve THIS?!" I shake my head violently. I sob. I stand still. I remember, my father has a shotgun in his office. "Oh.. Kiera.. you're in for a big TREAT." I laugh! I go downstairs quietly to make sure i don't disturb my parents. I open his office door slowly, as i enter, i spot the gun. sitting on a shelf, looking precious and well taken care of. I grab the gun and search for the ammo. "I know he keeps it here.. I know he does!" I grumbled angry. I couldn't wait any longer for my revenger on Kiera. I open draws, cabinets, anything i could open, it was opened, then, i look down. i see something poke out from the carpet. "A handle?" I lift the carpet up, and there it was, a handle.. leading to a crawlspace. "How come I never about this..?" I huffed. I open the hatch and grab a load of ammo. "Hell yeah.." I grinned from ear to ear. I will get my revenge. on her. and everyone she loves. I silently walk out of the room and go out the back door. "Oh Kiera.. You're done. FOR GOOD." I walk over to her house. I know where she lives because we used to be best friends. the memories pop up into my mind. "Ugh.." I grumbled. not giving a care anymore. i load the gun with ammo and enter her house swiftly and soundlessly. I go up the stairs and turn right. there's her room.. there it is.. I enter her rom and point the gun at her. "Die." I shoot her numerous times! "HAHAHAHA!" I smile. i go to her parents room and shoot them. i grab my pocket knife and shred their skin off. I finally had my revenge. I was great. I'm free.. I'm free from misery and guilt, I can finally leave this life.. I put the gun to gun forehead. I pull the trigger many times. I fall to the floor. Dead. the gun rolling out of my hand and onto the ground next to me. Goodbye.. goodbye.. hopefully my next life will be better.

This was absolutely shockingly beautiful and terrifying at the same time. The story is intriguing and the descent of the main character into madness is wonderful. I do wonder however, if there would be something gained from lengthening it a little bit, diving even deeper into the character, her past with Kiera, and her ultimate decision to kill Kiera and herself. Honestly, overall it was very well written and I very much enjoyed it!!

Ahh! Thank you!! I'll tell you a bit of the lore behind her and Kiera: They were bestfriends since kindergarten, they did everything together, they were basically inseparable. Yet, one fateful day Kiera saw her (her name is Emery) bullying a kid so Kiera dicided to record this interaction with her phone and post it on social media and then turn on her, spreading lies and rumors. She got really depressed and she despised Kiera for everything.

This short story is so much relatable in so many levels, I just couldn't express with words! Own thoughts can get really scary when in anger. Such greatly written.
