Feeling Alone

I've never have felt this way before,
the way you just carelessly waltzed out that door.
That look on your face , of pain and disgrace.

A stare that kills the other who stares back.
Fierce are the days I think about this time
When I was yours and you were I thought mine.
I never had anything at all, as good as you,
but now that we are through, I don't know what to do.
My heart aches with mistrust and despair.
I feel thin and spread through the air.

Years have silently passed since I've seen your ill face.

I'd never want to go back to that surreal place.
It's over and done with now that your forever gone,
and I guess that now all the lines of fate have been drawn.
