2- OrphanheartA Chapter by Kristan A. MohammedFollows the feelings and emotions of someone who has never found a home or sense of security. Who has, out of habit, been keeping people at a distance. It also follows the inner battle to grow roots....She opens her heart… …Into another day of silver skies, The salty breath of ocean breeze, Hear the waves cry as they die. Feel the fleeting currents sigh. And wander through the day with ease.
To many faces to remember, Wedged in the grain of hollow driftwood, Like the fire’s last ember. Or the airborne chill of December. Goodbyes aren’t always good.
Treading the winds of blue and white, Like a bird without a flock, High in flight and out of sight. Still dying to taste the night. Like hands without a clock.
Time to release the anchor! Locate the epicentre.
Or don’t comply!
Silent storm of distance in her eyes, Beyond the buoys and the land, Trying to reside and break all ties. Like the lonely owl flies. To no call or command.
Take the tests that aren’t corrected, Fill all the empty spaces, Dead weight will be rejected. Forsaken and dejected. Like a deck with no aces.
Unleash the fortune of pain you contain. Branches widespread like a tree, Coated with moss and thanking the rain. Begging her to pour again. Nothing though, is ever free.
Time to release the anchor! Or drift away forever!
Locate the epicentre. Just turn the key and enter.
Or remain locked outside. © 2017 Kristan A. MohammedReviews
