A Tale To Die ForA Poem by Kristan A. MohammedContinuation of A Tale To Tell in poem form.Pray
for me upon mount Zion, Taken
to a never-place. See
me dance with dandelions, But
I still need your grace.
Live
for me for I have lost, Light
a candle if you care. I
know not what the future holds, But
wish I could be there.
Seven
seconds left to keep, Seven
forevers to spare. Whispers
too soft to comprehend, But
loud enough to hear.
Time
has kept you next to me, But
now I must depart. So
many dreams left unsaid, Nor
knowing where to start.
Forgive
me all my enemies, For I
know my pain won’t last. Remember
me with inner eulogies, And trinkets
from the past.
For
forever, For
forever gone.
Not
forgotten but forlorn. © 2016 Kristan A. MohammedReviews
