Return to CamelotA Poem by Kristan A. MohammedContinuation of "For Camelot".You
will die. Only
when you find something worth living for.
For Camelot! We’ve
been breathing in the darkness, I
long for the light. Hostage
from freedom Not a
speck of hope here in sight.
We’ve
been screaming in silence, It’s
time to get loud. Broken
in battle, Sorrow
littered all on the ground.
My
heart is pounding faster. At
dawn we ride.
We’ve
forsaken our treaty, And
summoned a fight. Conquest
of fear, She
will lead the light out of sight.
We’ve
been fighting for forever, And
standing our ground. Devotee
to pain, She
will lead my army around.
I
hear them getting closer. At
dawn we ride.
I am
but… …Reverence. Left
your soul… …In
suspense. Mighty
hands… …Of
defense.
Save
me from falling.
I
have found… …Sanctity. Your
rebound… …Vanity. I
have found… …Divinity.
When,
will, this, quest, end? © 2015 Kristan A. MohammedReviews
