Dishonest EmbrasureA Poem by Kristan A. MohammedThe prayer of the heartless.Connect, The
dots to find
your perfect love. Perfect, The
experiment that gives
you hope. Drown
me, In
seas of silence
oh so deep. Make
me, The
essence of violence
oh so sweet.
This, Could
have been love
if not so hard. If, Only
I had a heart to turn
to sand. In, The
eyes of a dove so
bright and pure. Whose, Light
will depart to create a cure. So
sail, Within
the ocean’s everblue rage . Embrace, The
empty space in
every turning page. Deny, The
arrogant mind its
words of woe. Believe, In
every lie you’ve
ever told.
My, Heart
is the cheapest w***e untouched. Wounds, Trying
to heal untreated
pain. Eyes, Seeing
the truth and turning
away. Lead, The
compass’ arrow to a course unseen.
Are
you proud of the lie you’ve become? Or
are you ashamed to say your name? Heartbreaker…Promise
maker…Liar © 2015 Kristan A. MohammedAuthor's Note
