ElisaA Poem by Kristan A. MohammedDedicated to a very close friend of mine.
-Elisa Hamilton She
sings to me through words I can’t believe, Songs
of better days and things I can’t perceive. Blue
feathers fall from up above like raining kites, She
tells me to stay strong, But
she can’t take her own advice.
Pull
with me to cut the endless rope, The
noose that sways you breaks to give you hope.
You’re
pineapple-shaped bubble deep under the sea, Your
wingless angel told me you wish to be free.
I see into your soul though I can’t see your
face, I hear your voice through words from lines you’ve
left untraced.
Let my words wash over
you. Define you. © 2015 Kristan A. MohammedReviews
