The Last Joyride.A Poem by Kristan A. MohammedIn Loving Memory of Paul William Walker. The Last Joyride - Paul Walker This peaceful face smiles out at me, Under a headline of tragedy. Wake up
Lazarus, If only you
knew how. Come back to
us, Find a way
somehow.
Burn down
the curtains, The audience
still in shock. Leave us
uncertain, The cradle
will not rock.
Joyride
through fire, And through
the fire walk. Sail with
the zephyr, To the ocean
flower’s stalk.
Sink to the
bottom, Fade into
the blue, Treasure
unforgotten, The lost
treasure is you.
Give in to
the rain, And let the
sirens cry, Goodbye
Lazarus. No…Tell me
why, The heart
retains, How hard they
try, The truth remains, Legends
never die. Kristan A. Hayne © 2014 Kristan A. MohammedReviews
