The Chosen OneA Poem by Kristan A. MohammedA poem in which a champion is compared to a prostitute because they both live to please others.A knight in rusted armor, No protection for your heart. A fool to fight for honor, A hooker from the start. Your life belongs to you, But others use you more than you do. A champion to save their souls, A prostitute for their pleasure. Doomed to live life alone, And sacrifice your leisure. The unworthy souls you serve, Is the what you think you deserve? The burden of selling your body for hire, Life by the sword leaves a mark. Orgasms of pain like a blazing fire, But still defend them from the dark. How does it feel? No one can love for you, you're unreal. Using, abusing and losing your body, Musing, refusing and choosing your sword. Hoping someday you might find somebody, But no love, no luck from your God. It will get lonely. Making others happy. But living in agony. That's your reality. Hoping and praying that someday somehow, The dragon will lose and be slayed. The chains cannot hold you, the whip cannot sting, Love not just for getting paid. What have you done? You'll never forget, Doomed to live your life with regret.
