Internal Corrosion.A Poem by Kristan A. MohammedInner voice speaking.I feel pity when I look at you, Drowning in your deepest sorrows. This unsightly scene is nothing new, But I'm just the voice in the darkest corner of your inner shadows. The world desires an elixir for your existence, They would all be better off without you. God thought of you with no persistence, So flaws and shortcomings just makes you "you" You're nothing but the very least, She's the Belle of the ball. And you're just the horrid beast, The creation of God's downfall. She can never love the thing you are, How can anyone? Nothing but your heart to offer her, And its not even a beating one. The future has nothing to offer but pain, You're just a waste of space. All your trying was just labor in vain, Cause you're still a disgrace with a tainted face. There's an easy way to out the lights, Just trust in the fate of the blade. Fade, like a dream, into the night, Or go quickly with the bullet's aid. Why do you keep on fighting? Its easier to give in. Your sight is silently dying, So die before your lights go dim. These are your thoughts, So don't blame me. I'm your internal sin, Come to set you free. I'm the dark angel on the Right side, You're the one I can't live without. Heed my words of solace and abide, I'm your shadow of doubt.
