Flip The Switch

Seeing you guys,

Dancing out under the stars,

Right outside my window,

But I guess that's what it takes,

Cuz I'm the girl next door,

With a little more to hope for,

I hope you'll see me in my window,

Wishing on a star for you

But you'll never love me,

Like you love her,

And I just can't,

Change your mind about that,

I can't make your heart,

Flip the switch,

So you can love me now,

But if it was possible you know I would

I take out a paper and a pen,

And write you a sweet song,

With a calm melody,

I wanna walk right up,

To your door,

And play it just for you,

But I see you talking,

On your phone to her

And you'll never love me,

Like you love her,

And I just can't,

Change your mind about that,

I can't make your heart,

Flip the switch,

But if it was possible you know I would

I'd even walk the seven seas,

Author's Note

Heyy so I've had a few songs before about a guy that I've liked since I was three years old. This is another song about him. For some reason I guess he has a habit of being attracted to horrible people. And it always seems like I care about him way more than any of his girlfriends and this is pretty much what the songs about. Me and his girlfriends are completely opposite. I care about him and would treat him with respect, and all of his girlfriends want a boyfriend and treat him like crap. So it always seems like he would have to flip a light switch from dark to light to realize that I like him and ya that's pretty much how I came up with the idea haha :) So I hope you like it!!
