This is a song that I wrote about my first boyfriend. The hidden message is: our rank of one to ten. Hope you guys like it :)

A Million

It didn't start out perfect,

But it ended up that way,

I never dreamed that it would happen,

But I guess it was my lucky day,

All my prayers came true,

When I knew that I had you,

You never knew how much you meant to me,

And I never knew how much I meant to you

A million little stars shining in the sky,

A million little heartbeats racing by,

A million little things I wish you knew,

A million little things I don't know how to say to you,

Two big hands holding tight,

Laying underneath the starlight,

A million things I never knew,

A million reasons why you loved me too

Now I need you by my side,

Cuz every time you're gone I feel empty,

You shine your light on my day,

And you take my pain away,

I'd never trade you for another,

We asked how much we loved each other,

With a smile on my face I said "305",

With love in your heart you said "Baby, you're a million"

A million little stars shining in the sky,

A million little things I wish you knew,

A million little things I don't know how to say to you,

Two big hands holding tight,

The moments flew by,

The good times went away,

My sadness came to stay,

And your anger made my tears fall down,

I could never deal with that pain again,

I wish we could go back to the days when,

With a smile on my face I said "305",

This is one of my favorite songs that I've written for some reason. I hope you guys like it :) Just finished re-editing! Just fixed a few lines so it's pretty much the same!

Not Your Typical New Yo..

Your first song is always special, it's like finding a piece of yourself. I remember writing my own song while playing my first music instrument: keyboard. It was rather a funny yet dark track called "Sitting Here." It was about the idea of me sitting on this torn up couch while me little brother (I'm the youngest, so it doesn't make sense) is out on the road and the house burning around me. Still, I get a kick out of it. But enough about me, this is a really good start for a song writer. It sure takes me back when I first started out.
