Author's Note

So ya this is pretty much about my dreams of being a country singer. One day I was thinking about it and thinking about how I'd be able to get there. I was thinking about Nashville and Music Row and about the terrible process of constantly being denied. And I just kept thinking about how now matter what I would never give up my dreams no matter how many people tell me that I can't make it.

These lyrics are nicely structured and rhymed. Very strong and powerful message; full of determination and ambition. It would be cool if you added a bridge as well, since you seem to only have verses and a chorus. If you like Taylor Swift and country music, you should listen to the Dixie Chicks. They are awesome even if they aren't exactly current. Lovely song, even if I can't hear the music!

I really like the lyrics a lot. I agree that you should never give up on your dreams, and when people reject you, fight harder. Just remember you're a poet, so you already have thick skin lol :P

I find the lyrics simply wonderful. It would truly be a beautiful song if it was completely finished(possibly with bass, guitar and piano accompaniment). I would really be a fan of this song, just by seeing this lyrics.

Not yet. I've finally been able to start writing instrumentals for my songs but I'm not that good of a guitar player yet so it may take me a while to get them onto youtube.
