This Moment

Waves crash, wind blows,

Walking down the beach,

Side by side,

And praying that you'll,

Never let go, of my hand,

This moment could never feel,

More unreal,

Cuz it's so unreal to see,

You walking next to me,

I just can't believe it baby

I've been waiting for this moment,

And watching for this moment,

And praying for this moment,

All my life,

I've been waiting for your hand,

To be entwined in mine,

For the longest time,

I can't believe this is happening,

Cuz I've been waiting for this moment

I can't stop looking into your eyes,

Cuz I've been waiting for this time,

When I know you love me too,

And your eyes are the,

Perfect shade of blue,

Just like ocean,

That flows around our feet,

Baby don't let go of me,

Cuz I can't let this moment slip,

Away and flow free

Author's Note

While I was on vacation in Wildwood, NJ this year I kept dreaming that I would somehow magically run into my crush. Before school ended he told me that his family was going there on vacation too but he never told me when. Everyday, I kept imaging different situations where I would see him somewhere and we would get to spend the whole day together! When I was walking on the beach that night with my family I couldn't stop thinking about how perfect it would be if he was there with me so I wrote this song about it! I hope you like it!! :)

That's very sweet! Typical boys - being all mysterious and not letting you know when! I know how that feels. I think this would be a great song and such a lovely choice of lyrics too!

This is an awesome write. I am a Jersey boy, and I just wanted to tell you this was a great write. Sadly, the hurricane destroyed a lot of these areas, including my town. :(
