Author's Note

So this song was basically about my dream to become a country singer. Every since I was little I've been fascinated with country music and wrote songs when I was like 7, they were horrible but still. After a while I stopped writing, but I still always loved country music. 2 years ago, in 7th grade I turned to writing songs after my first relationship ended really badly. Taylor Swift became my role model and my inspiration for writing music again. I always wanted to play the guitar, and I finally started lessons around a year ago. The more songs I write and the more times I practice my guitar, I feel like I'm getting so much closer to my dream. I dream of one day being able to go to Nashville, and knock on all of the doors down Music Row, just as Taylor Swift did when she was around my age. I always think to myself, if she can make it, then maybe I have a chance, too, because she came from a small town just like me. I dream that one day, I'll be able to play this to a crowd of people, and them to already know the words before I sing them. To me, that would be the most amazing feeling in the world. And I can't wait for that to happen one day <3

Great write. Perserverance while battling any form of adversity is the key when you desparately want something. Other people may not understand it but as long as you know that paying the price is worth it then see it to the definite end. Very thought provoking and inspirational. Great job. :)
