of sighs

of sighs

A Poem by Krista Laraine

To give reason for a sigh,
the deep and long,
at times collective,
silent, or barely audible,
at times reflective
but never wrong.
Just something he said
that requires no hasty reply,
no proper word to voice,
but a contemplative sigh.

To explain
murmurs of the soul
with his lips on my skin,
escaping while my mouth is closed
from someplace soft within;
and riddled with truth,
they give me away
with such imaginings
I could never say.
To give reason for a sigh
as he
is sure to elicit more
from me,
I could no sooner give reason
for love.

This is the edge of our lines. This is as far as we are allowed between Sun and Lady Luna. You have written through dimensions...and certainly a sigh would express this reaction quite well. I have within me Appreciation, Frustration, Pleasure, Seduction, The Light and lap of love ...all in equal circles just rolling within my palm ..How do I keep one from falling? Perhaps a boy's smile might hold them there for a few seconds longer ...but these deserve the silence and breath of your "sigh"...
It's Beautiful.
