of sighsA Poem by Krista Laraine
To give reason for a sigh,
the deep and long, at times collective, silent, or barely audible, at times reflective but never wrong. Just something he said that requires no hasty reply, no proper word to voice, but a contemplative sigh. To explain murmurs of the soul with his lips on my skin, escaping while my mouth is closed from someplace soft within; and riddled with truth, they give me away with such imaginings I could never say. To give reason for a sigh as he is sure to elicit more from me, I could no sooner give reason for love. © 2008 Krista LaraineReviews
