Cursed Fate

A poem that I wrote when I was in school a couple years ago.

Two foes never see face to face,

never seeing their cursed fate.

Neither side good or evil

yet on their hands innocent blood of civil.

You two, can you not see,

the suffering you self-inflicted on thee.

Your punishment shall be great,

your punishment shall be your kin’s fate.

You have shed the blood of innocent.

You have scattered those in your shameful name.

Only you have brought this upon yourself.

no idea how old you are, I am reasonably old. This is good in parts and not so in others. In my opinion that is. I imagine it didn't take too long to do, but it could be improved immensly. Try not to force the rhyming too much...relax it a bit.......For instance, it does not have to rhyme in order for it to flow....Drop the words 'of civil', and self inflicted on thee is just wrong...think about it a bit more and read a few of the poems on here....Not mine tho' I rhyme all the time but then again most of my stuff is harmless humour
