The Treasure of the Sun

The Treasure of the Sun

A Poem by Kris
"

The land will now never know the Sun's warm glow.

"

The Sun sets to mourn her loss,

to cut her beloved’s wings away,

to save all but one.

He was nothing but a pawn,

never wanted to leave.

Then the time had come

for the battle to be won.

The Moon takes stead,

for the Darkness had engulfed

the Treasure of the Sun.

I like this twist on the sunset..I see many over the sea from where I live...I do however think that you need to delete one of the 2 AWAYS in the second line
