The Black and White Door

The Black and White Door

A Poem by Kris
"

Welcome...

"

Behind this Black and White door

lies my special place.

It is my Home, where I laugh and play;

it’s where my heart resides, and I never want to leave.

It is my Grave, where I cry out in pain;

it’s where my heart has died and I have no way to escape.

It is the dwelling of my Hopes,

Hopes that keep me strong, for nothing can bring me down.

It is the dwelling of my Fears,

Fears that devour my heart, for they bring me down.

It is my Sanctuary,

a place where I’m safe. I’m free, and I’m as happy as I could ever be.

This is my Asylum,

a place where I’ll never feel bliss; a place where I’m eternally caged.

It’s a precious place that holds my Dreams,

Dreams that sends me on to euphoria.

It’s a hellish place that holds my Nightmares,

Nightmares that paralyzes my whole being.

It is home of the Good and Noble,

the key to the treasure of eternity.

It is home to the Dark and Evil,

where shadows consume me and drag me to the abyss.

Behind this Black and White door,

lies my special place.

Welcome...
