Memento

Memento

A Poem by Krishna

Life a reminder of futility
And the hope of all living things
Pressed together endlessly
A flighty uncontroldness of time
The children inside of us
Oh how they cry bitterly
For would-have-beens and yesterdays
But even when life is over
There are so many young souls
Just starting out themselves
Facing the same ambiguity
Who will neither figure it out
Or remain the same in it
Living like breathing and thinking
A constantly flow of torments
Changes beyond our control
Timing better than anything predictable
Loving better than anything desirable.
