Between Smiles and Words

Between Smiles and Words

A Poem by Krishna
"

Just another poem, it makes my world go around.

"

*                                  *                                  *

Your mouth,
The beginning and the end
Of everything
Of kisses, that last a lifetime
Of solace in
The pouring out of words
An endless union
Of our psychologies,
Gifted with the
Excellence of lips
Decorating the joy
In our reciprocating faces,
It’s the bottom line
Of the communication
Between us, a lilac blur
Of heart-soaked moments,
Colliding into the flesh
Of this world’s fragile synastries,
We navigate each other’s faces,
As complex as music
Flowing with emotions,
Alive with melodies
That I can’t bear
To leave them go unnoticed –
Your mouth,
The start of eloquence,
Inspiring the lines
I am about to proclaim;
A sequence of gender
Interaction, upon the brink
Between smiles and words.

This piece is convoluted....It doesn't follow a pattern of seeable metaphor or simile.

A lilac blur of heart-soaked moments?

An endless union of our psychologies? Seems forced and wordy without true substance.

Great job though.
