Where is the love?

This is Channel 17 with URGENT BREAKING NEWS!

Today, February 14, 2012 an epidemic has spread across the planet. World leaders have met in London to attempt to solve the problem but it appears all is lost. People are dying without cause which defies every scientific theory in existence. We do not currently know if a virus has erupted or if this is the fallout from some nuclear weapon. The government has issued a warning to all citizens to stay indoors and barricade your homes. May god help us all.

Science has failed. Logic has failed. Despite these shortcomings, we have discovered the process at which people are dying. It seems that the heart stops pumping blood which stops all blood flow too and from the brain. After blood flow completely stops, the brain shuts down and the body dies. It seems on this Valentine's Day, the epidemic that will destroy mankind is the broken heart. World renowned researchers are currently investigating how to cure a broken heart.
