I'll be thereA Poem by Kris Jansen
When life's tough, When life gets rough.
When you think you've had enough, I'll be there. This I swear. I am one who cares. Rise from your knees, and roll down your sleeves. And I will show you how to believe. Dry your tears, and have no fear. I'll always be right here. And when you're alone, with nowhere to go, Sing this song of a thousand Angels. And when you are sad, know that you have, No more Demons to strangle. So when you're alone, with nowhere to go, I'll be there. Have my hand to hold, when your heart grows cold. And I promise you to never let it go. When you see the dark, I'll make it spark. And show you how beautiful you are. Walk with me today, and listen to me say: "No one deserves to live this way" Together we will fight, and stare into the light. And throw away this suicide plight. So when you're alone, with nowhere to go, Sing this song of a thousand Angels. And when you are sad, know that you have, No more Demons to strangle. So when you're alone, with nowhere to go, I'll be there. And when you're alone, with nowhere to go, Know that death is not the solution. And when you're not strong, know that it's wrong, To make a permanent conclusion. So when you're alone, with nowhere to go, I'll be there. When you're alone, With nowhere to go, I'll be there. © 2014 Kris Jansen |
