Flamenco on the wind

Flamenco on the wind

A Poem by Christie Moses

Ache hitchhikes to bold intoxication

Borrow crimson stain on external page

Wail like a panther’s wild declaration

Sail silver tempest feel this sorrow rage

Raw bittersweet this splintered whiskey ride

Suggestive thighs kinetic…dance for you

Lament of naked “no more can I hide”

Flagrant flamenco….primitive debut

“Forget me nots” entwined in auburn hair

Erotic rhythms …body sweat collide

Behold a sad eyed misfits disrepair

Those fiery magma eyes that pierce inside

Catch this rapid pitch of flawless falling

Tidal wave of fate on zephyrs calling

Mult-layered lines, filled with color and life; intrinsically woven throughout is a tapestry of longing and mystery. Without saying too much or too little, this poem brings a nice overtone of pleasure, as delicately conjured within is search for something more, perhaps for satisfaction.

Best of the rest...!

I so adore your passion, your writing has such 'presence' it can not be ignored. not just for its intelligence, not just for its poetic beauty but for the wail of the panther's wild declaration.

Such a great use of wordplay here, each line is constructed so perfectly. You also, as usual, had a great sense of description. I love the opening line a lot. Very very nicely done!

my goodness, christie ~ i could never do this! your rhyming is seamless . . . so much so that it only enhances the passion, anguish and heat of this 'dance' of fate. your word combinations are original and provocative, bringing to mind complete abandonment of any inhibitions ~ as though it's too late and too tiresome for that any longer. thoroughly lively and effective writing ...... wow. nice work!

Each line here paints such an emotional rhythm as it were.. a movement of color based on the sensual, stunning glimpses of sea and sky. Powerfully done!

flawless falling , such is the grace and gravity of dance . and to me , Flamenco maybe the most passionate expression of the Guitar

i read it to myself in my best fake british accent and it felt old (in a good way). has the feel of a classic poem, partly because of the form you used and partly because you are a brilliant writer.

Las Cuevas` de Altamira - an ancient hole in the fabric of time... Olde` Towne, San Juan... an eternity long, long ago The sheer magyk of the danse... and we sat and shared hours of being - alive, after she had finished...

Take care,
