Why Don't You

Why Don't You

A Poem by Kringe
"

This is just something I go through

"
How do I tell you I love you when you already know? How do I help you, when it only hurts me? I will gladly face depression to keep you somewhat sane. You mean everything and more to me, but why can't you understand? Helping you love another is just too much to bare. I sit and watch quietly as she rips you from limb to limb, I can even look away because you sit there and take it. You let her pour gasoline on your soul and light your feelings on fire. When she finishes, she laughs and runs away with another. As you crawl to a corner, eyes wide, flesh bleeding, I walk over slowly. I nurse your wounds and wipe your tears, promising what I can't give. I show a smile to see you smile, I hug you to warm your cold body, I watch you stand and live again, attempt to start a new. While I help you, I think of all you've done. I think of every touch you gave me, before she became The One. I think of all your words and feeling portrayed to someone else. I watch your suffering become eternal but this time, I sit there quietly and let you be thinking what you thought for her. Why don't you love me?

Nicely done. Again, you should start each sentence on a new line.
